A journal project for young ladies…

journal cover

This study offers daily Scripture passages and space to journal about them for an entire year.  Learn about serving God, remaining humble, and loving others through instruction from the Word itself.  Includes introductory material encouraging young women at home to embrace local outreach and view their own communities as mission fields.  Though compiled especially with the recent homeschool graduate in mind, the 365 Scriptures themselves and the suggested titles for further study would be useful to any Christian woman, young or old, single or married, who desires to know the heart of the Savior toward the brethren, the poor, the widow, the fatherless, and the lost.

6″ x 9″ coil bound, 244 pages, consumable.

The second volume in the series… journal_2_online_cover

This next volume in the Woman of Virtue series also offers daily Scripture passages and space to journal about them for an entire year, but focuses on a new theme.  In this journal a young woman will learn from the words of the Bible about the source of true wisdom and the pressing need for her to use her tongue and her faculties to the glory of God.  Introductory material again encourages young women at home to embrace local outreach and view their own communities as mission fields, though it does not repeat the specifics included in the first volume.   Also included are the “Tongue Checklist” and “Circle of Influence” written by the compiler.

6″ x 9″ coil bound, 250 pages, consumable.

The Importance of Local Missions

Are you seeking a mission field, longing to do
Some true service to Jesus and fellow man, too?
You need not look too far; there are those all around –
In your family, church, in your city or town –
Who are lost and who need to be lovingly sought
Or are hurting, to whom kindly words could be brought.
“Now ‘whom shall I send’?  Will you go?” asks the Lord.
“Will you bless your own home and hometown with My Word?”

Are there some who’ve not tasted the Savior’s great love?
Are there some still unsure of a mansion above?
Are there any discouraged, weighed down ‘neath life’s load?
Are there wayward ones needing a Scriptural goad?
Are there suffering or sick ones whom you can help cheer?
Could you speak reassurance to some filled with fear?

Are there hungry and thirsty to whom you could bring
Both physical help and the news of the King?
Are there widows and fatherless needing a friend
Who will succor, stand with them through life’s many bends?
Are there those whose love-labors for Christ you have seen
Who could use sincere thanks when the harvest seems lean?
“Now ‘whom shall I send’?  Will you go?” asks the Lord.
“Will you bless your own home and hometown with My Word?”
